• The lights dimmed for a moment as all the couples finished their final walk in the runway, and my heart raced as I waited for the hosts to begin, expecting the usual routine; another round of runway walks with our pairs in our formal wear. But then, out of nowhere, Zach stepped forward with an unexpected grin.
