Chapter 35 Not-so-pleasant First Meeting

• “Why didn’t you tell me you’re taking him to the hospital? I could’ve gotten there to take you guys. Damn, now I feel like the asshole for telling you off earlier!”
• I let out a sigh, massaging my temples as I listened to Cole ramble on as I sat outside of Night’s room. “It’s fine.” I told him. “I got him here just fine and hailing a cab was much faster than calling you to haul ass. Besides…you were right. You have your own life and I shouldn’t keep on bothering you just when it’s convenient for me.”
