• “How much longer do we have to wait?” I asked Jonathan as I paced the length of the open field where we were told to wait for the nerdy-looking rogue leader who had gone on a mission to retrieve Elarian from the human world.
• “I don’t know,” Jonathan replied, a worried expression on his face. He had a faraway look in his eyes as he stared at the horizon, searching for any sign of their approach, but there was nothing to see.
