• I was stunned at how things had changed so rapidly. The napkin I used to hide my mark from the public was gone, and Blair was staring at me with a look in her eyes that hadn’t been there a while ago. It was as if she could see right through me and suddenly knew that everything she thought she knew about me was a lie.
