• “What did he mean by that!” a voice yelled inside my head, making the pain intensify. The light throbbing in my head worsened, and I was forced to make a sound—a low grunt that didn’t slip past the doctor’s notice. His attention turned to me almost immediately, and Blair followed his gaze. Even though my vision was still blurry and my entire body felt like it had just been hit by a truck, I could still make out their expressions.
