• Alessia proceeded up the stairs, both hands occupied by a pile of books she was carrying.
• Marcus had given her books to read to relieve her boredom, and while he wasn't at home, she went to his room to read the books since she wanted to breathe in his cologne as she read.
• For the past few days, he has been very kind to her. They had spent the night before in each other's arms, while she read him a book. And, what's more shocking, he bought her a whole box of chocolates the day before, claiming that it was a gift and that she should be glad and return the favour, which she understood perfectly. She was starting to enjoy her stay at the pack house when he was there, but she became quickly bored when he wasn't, despite the fact that she misses her existence in the human world.
