Chapter 69 The Right Thing

  • Mia's eyes fluttered at the ray of sunlight in her room. She twirled around a little in bed, but when her head turned around, she didn’t find Xavier beside her. Her heart tightened painfully in her chest, but she quickly told herself to get over it. It wasn’t his first time leaving and it shouldn’t surprise or hurt her anymore, but it did.
