• There came a loud bang against the bars of Mia’s dungeon. Her eyes shot open immediately and her heart slammed against her chest as she thought about what might be the reason for this early invasive intrusion.
• “Rise and shine, my queen!” the guard mocked, his wide set of teeth coming into display as he grinned at her.
