Chapter 2

• Meeting his beta and gamma
• Rina
• I woke up today feeling quite different. I didn’t know why, so I just pushed the thought away and got myself ready to work. I have a meeting today with my team and two representatives from the CEO's office. I hope it all goes well.
• On my way to work, I decided to stop at a coffee shop and have something for breakfast. I don’t usually like to buy breakfast; I prefer to make it for myself because it’s kind of cheap, but today I didn't make it, and I needed something hot for a good start this morning. I went into the coffee shop and ordered a cup of hot chocolate since I don’t like coffee.
• I get this weird feeling that someone is watching me, so I decide to turn and look for it. I came face to face with two pairs of eyes looking directly at me. I glare at them and they just smile and turn away. I turn away too, pay for the chocolate and take it with me to drink as I am driving to work to save time and avoid traffic.
• I still have this weird feeling, but all I wish for is good news because I don’t need any bad energy today; I want some good energy for my next project.
• 20 minutes later, I arrived at work.
• My assistant's eyes widened when she saw me, and I knew something was wrong.
• “Good morning! Ella, why do you look like you saw a ghost?”
• “Boss, we are in trouble.”
• “Why"
• "It's about the meeting today."
• "What about it?"
• "I just got a call that the bosses are already in the meeting room waiting for you."
• "What?"
• My eyes scanned the papers that I had; the meeting that was supposed to be at 11:30 am would be held at 8:30 am. That’s not bad at all, right?
• I just hope my team is ready.
• I took a deep breath not to freak out, then I walked straight to the board room informing Ella to call everyone to the meeting ASAP!
• "Did you get them anything to drink?" I asked my secretary, Ivy, who was standing outside the meeting room already. With a nod, she answered my question.
• She opened the door for me and walked in behind me. I walked to the front table and shook hands with the two men whom I knew to be the CEO's assistants. Yes, he has two of them. I have never met them before. Most of the time, I just send my assistant if I needed any papers forwarded to the big boss.
• "Good morning....." I started to talk but I stopped midway when I came face to face with the same people. I gave a glare in the coffee shop. Wow! A nice first impression I can say. I hope I don't get myself fired.
• "A good morning it is. Happy to meet you, Ms Reina, we can start the meeting. Don't worry about anything, " the one with jet-black hair said. He is cute when he smiles, showing those dimples.
• I walk to my seat beside them and watch as my team rushes in.

• Today the king is working at the pack office, so he sent both Liam and me to check on the company. We decided to have a cup of coffee at our best coffee shop before we went to work. As we are discussing some details about the upcoming meeting, we feel the change in the air, there is this strong aura and a calming way that is coming from the door. We follow with our eyes to see whom it is coming from and behold, standing in a queue, is the most beautiful woman I have ever seen, but I am not sexually attracted to her, instead, it is respectful. She feels like a mother, a leader.
• I don’t know why my wolf and I felt like submitting to her; she had this aura around her that commanded respect, and she did not smell like a wolf but a human. I looked at Liam and mind-linked him, and he felt the same way. ( a mind link is like talking to someone but in a telepathy way).
• As if she can feel our eyes on her, she turns looking directly at us with a glare. I feel like it is Damon glaring at me after making a joke of him. We just look away ashamed to have been found staring.
• After the short incident at the coffee, we got to work but decide to tell the alpha king about how our wolves submitted to a stranger, and he tells us to keep a watch on her.
• We send the details about the location to our best tracker, and he sends us all the information so fast. The advantages of being a multibillionaire company are that he has eyes everywhere in the city.
• Rina Roshna, 28 years old, is single and works for our company and she is also the project manager we are about to have a meeting with. That would be interesting. I say to myself as Liam urges me to change the meeting time to 8:30 am. We arrived at work early and 8.30 am would be in ten minutes. We just walk leisurely to the meeting room to wait for others. The excitement of us meeting the lady from this morning. I am sure she is our Luna. No one else can make us feel that way except the Alpha and Luna.
• When she came to the meeting and greeted us, we could hear her heart rate, which was racing.
• "Is she scared of us?" I asked Liam through our mind-link.
• "No dummy, she is scared because of her first impression this morning", Liam says to me as a matter of fact.
• "A good morning it is. Happy to meet you, Ms Reina, we can start the meeting. Don't worry about anything,"
• I said giving her my perfect smile that every woman loves, but it doesn't affect her and she doesn't gawk at us like other women.
• before I could continue talking, I saw people getting in and she sat beside me and got herself ready for the meeting
• The meeting went smoothly. I loved how Rina carried herself out. Like a leader, she listened to ideas from her members, put them together and gave us good ideas making her team also contribute, and we finally came to a conclusion that we could present to the CEO.
• We couldn't get hold of her after the meeting due to her busy schedule, as she said, which might be a lie, and the fact that she ran out of the meeting room so we couldn't stop her. We already had all her information, which included where she lived. After work in the evening, our wolves were begging us to check on her, so that's how we came up with the most stupid idea, going to visit her at her home.
• We got to her house and decided to go. It is not bad for two gentlemen to watch over the lady whom they met today, right?
