Chapter 3 The Alpha King

  • Third-Person POV
  • Black Moon Pack
  • Inside the very large room were golds of different types and many beautiful decorations surrounding a golden throne standing just at the end of the room. Sitting on the throne is a man in his twenties, looking as handsome as ever.
  • His flawless and spotless light skin is what can drive anyone crazy, his eyes are the rarest and the most dangerous anyone could ever behold, they're green color mixed with gold, his pointed nose is the most perfect one which anyone would ever behold, his small heart-shaped lips are the most perfect one that every lady will love to have a test of, his thick black hair was so long cascading down his shoulders shining beautifully matching his dark aura, he could kill anyone faster than anything.
  • He is Alpha Wolfe, the Alpha of the Black Moon Pack, the most dangerous man that ever existed, his type is rare, he is the devil himself. With him, he has made his pack the strongest and most successful pack among others. His name alone can make even a strong man fall down and worship him; he is like a god feared by all.
  • But he has a weakness.
  • Aiden Wolfe heard the loud scream of his brother from his room; he quickly rushed out of the throne room to his brother's room in fear.
  • He knows what that noise is, his brother is at it again, and he has begun to lose his sanity. He barged inside his room, and he met him, scattering and throwing everything away.
  • The moment his brother Jeff saw him enter his room, he stopped what he was doing as his breath was frantic and all his attention was now on Wolfe.
  • Wolfe took a deep breath as he watched his insane brother closely. “I am not going to hurt you.” He whispered, walking closer to him carefully.
  • Jeffrey roared angrily, not recognizing the intruder. Everything and everyone around here seemed like a threat to him, and suddenly, he changed into his wolf form, ready to attack.
  • He ran towards Wolfe ready to attack him, but he was quick to move away, causing Jeffrey to hit his head on the wall. He didn't mean to hurt his brother, but he needed to chain him down.
  • “Calm down, big man,” Wolfe said as he turned, facing him, ready to get him.
  • Jeffrey rushed to him again ready to tear him with his claws, but Wolfe was able to catch him by the head as he pinned it tightly with his hand. Even in his human form, he is stronger than Jeffrey, who is in his wolf form the more reason why he is feared by all, he has never lost a battle.
  • The loud cry and howl of Jeffrey filled the room as Wolfe held his head firmly and dragged him to where he was going to tie him up.
  • Zack, who was outside, heard the loud scream from Jeffrey's room, and he already knew what was going on. Upon entering the room, he saw Wolfe holding his brother very tight.
  • “Go get me the chains!” Wolfe yelled while Jeffrey struggled to free himself.
  • Not quite long Zack came back with the chain, and together he helped the Alpha to chain Jeffrey down. Since he was not in his right senses, this was the best thing that could be done for him.
  • Jeffrey had been suffering from mania for the past three years, ever since the death of his beloved mate. Her absence had left him with a profound sense of loss, and he often struggled to keep his mental faculties in check. He would sometimes lose himself in his grief, becoming so consumed by his sorrow that he would forget who he was and where he was. His condition made him erratic and unpredictable, and it was hard to know when he would have a good day and when he would be lost in the grips of his mania.
  • “What are we going to do about Jeff?” Zack, the Beta, asked the Alpha, his voice heavy with concern. They both stood in the corridor outside Jeffrey's room, the door still closed. The silence was deafening, and the question hung in the air, unanswered. The Alpha sighed, his eyes downcast. He knew that this was not an easy situation to navigate, and he had no easy solution. But he had to do something, for the sake of his pack and for Jeffrey himself.
  • Wolfe didn't say a word, he was silent, fighting with his inner mind on what he needed to do to help his brother. This is not the happy and healthy brother he had known three years back, but now his condition is becoming worse each day.
  • He stops and faces Zack, “Go call me the pack doctor first.” He informed him with a cracked voice the only weakness he had was his brother.
  • “On it.” Zack bowed before he walked out to carry his order.
  • The doctor came and checked Jeffery's pulse, and then he ministered some drugs to him, which helped him to transform back to his human form.
  • “Doctor, what is now the condition of my brother?” Wolfe turned to face the doctor the moment he was done checking him.
  • "His condition is getting worse…” The doctor pauses watching the Alpha, he is scared of giving him the news that will make him angry.
  • “Go on, doctor.” Wolfe urged him.
  • “Something has to be done to his condition else if his mental health worsens he will become a Rogue because once he changes to his wolf form in his maniac state he won't be able to shift back to his human form, thus making him a Rogue and the medication might not work for him again.” The doctor explained to the Alpha, whose expression was now turning to a frown, his brew clenched in anger as he tried to control himself not to break down.
  • “So you mean the possibility of my brother going feral is high?” He asked, his eyes diverting back to Jeffrey, who is now calm but his eyes color is still red instead of its normal gray color.
  • “Yes, we need to find a solution to his condition.” The Doctor explained.
  • “Okay, you can go but don't let any of the pack members hear about this, if I should hear it from anyone else I am going to end your existence and that of your children,” Wolfe warned the doctor, who was already scared of him, as he made his way outside the room and Zack followed him behind.
  • “Aiden, what are we going to do now things are getting dangerous,” Zack asked, following him behind, he's the only one who called the Alpha by his first name.
  • “Jeffrey has a mania because he lost his mate, right?” He said, facing Zack with his two hands inside his pocket as he took each step majestically.
  • “Yes.” Zack nods.
  • “Then we are going to find him another mate who will take the place of his lost mate.” He breaks his plan to Zack, who was taken aback by his suggestion. How did he come up with such a great idea, but is it possible for someone to be mated twice?
  • “Did you think it would work?”
  • “Yes, so long as he finds another female who is yet to have a mate.”
  • “So how are we going to do that?” Zack asked, still following him behind.
  • “The awakening festival is coming up in the next two days, and it will be held in Double Moon Pack.” Wolfe smiled when he thought of the possibility that his brother could become sane again by being mated to another.
  • “And there is a possibility that Jeff can find another mate among the upcoming werewolves who are still unmated.”
  • “Exactly, so send a message to Double Moon Pack that we are attending the ceremony,” Wolfe informed his beta before walking away from him.
  • "I hope everything will work out for good,” Zack muttered under his breath as he watched the Alpha walk away.
