Chapter 11 He Reveals His True Power

  • Ronan noticed that Sebastian's true energy felt incredibly strong and carried a distinct aura he had never encountered before. After thinking it over, he declared, "Let my son fight on my behalf! If he loses, the patriarch's position will go to you brothers, and he will also return the thousand-year Redmyst Spirit Mushroom!"
  • Ronan's statement indicated his belief in Sebastian's ability to win, which added to the pressure on Sebastian. He turned to Ronan, who wore a kind smile and nodded at him encouragingly.
  • "I can take this guy down with one hand tied behind my back!" Haddon boasted, stepping forward with a look of disdain as he glared at Sebastian.
  • At his young age, Haddon already possessed the strength of the Earthly Fifth Realm, causing him to underestimate Sebastian, the young alchemist. His arrogance drew disapproving looks from many of the elders of the Stones, who understood that a skilled alchemist could train many powerful young warriors.
  • Edgar, who was nursing serious injuries, sneered. "Both of them are young and arrogant. What if they end up getting hurt in this fight? If the exceptional alchemist from the Stones gets killed, I'll never hear the end of it from the old folks."
  • Ronan remained silent, deep in thought about his next steps.
  • Edgar smirked. "If you're so set on letting your alchemist son enter the ring, that's fine. But if something happens, it'll be his fault for not being skilled enough."
  • "Don't worry, if I get hurt or worse, that's on me!" Sebastian replied, aware that if Ronan couldn't become the patriarch, even as an alchemist, he would still be under Edgar's thumb since he viewed him as a significant threat.
  • "Everyone heard that! He said it himself! So let my son fight first. If he defeats my son, then he can face my brother."
  • Edgar smiled, confident that Sebastian wouldn't be strong enough. Even if he managed to defeat his son, he would have no chance against his brother, who was at the Earthly Seventh Realm.
  • That way, Edgar would not only become the patriarch of the Stones but also reclaim the thousand-year Redmyst Spirit Mushroom.
  • With his father's backing, Haddon looked down on Sebastian. "If I accidentally cause you serious harm, don't blame me. It's your fault for thinking too highly of yourself."
  • Sebastian remained expressionless, then turned to Edgar and asked, "If I beat him, can I take my father's place in the fight?"
  • Edgar chuckled heartily. "That's right! But do you think you can win?"
  • Some of Edgar's supporters laughed along with him.
  • Haddon clenched his fists, sneering. "I won't hold back."
  • "Start!" Ronan shouted, his expression serious.
  • As soon as he finished speaking, Haddon leapt toward Sebastian with the grace of a swallow, his body moving fluidly. However, his raised hand suddenly radiated a fierce aura, with golden light flowing as it transformed into a large golden axe.
  • "That's the Stones' superior spirit-level technique, Skyflare Slash! It converts true energy into a weapon with massive attack power!" someone exclaimed. It was difficult to learn such a superior spirit-level technique, which had tremendous power.
  • Sebastian stood firm, focused on the descending Skyflare Slash. Everyone assumed he was intimidated by the intense golden energy. Just as the golden axe was about to crush him, he suddenly gathered his energy, opened his mouth, and unleashed a deafening roar.
  • The dragon-like roar rang out, startling everyone. To their amazement, Sebastian spewed forth a burst of azure true energy from his mouth, engulfing Haddon as he charged at him.
  • As the Azure Energy surged, an ancient and powerful force filled the square, leaving everyone astonished. They could see that this energy was extraordinary, far beyond what could be cultivated through ordinary means.
  • With the dragon's roar emanating from Sebastian, the spectators were left in shock, unable to believe their eyes. If they hadn't witnessed Sebastian releasing such potent energy themselves, they would have thought it impossible!
  • Ronan felt immense pride seeing his son's incredible abilities, filled with excitement and joy. However, Edgar and the others looked increasingly worried, knowing how fearsome that energy was.
  • Sebastian let out the Azure Roar and easily countered Haddon's Skyflare Slash. The energy storm he unleashed was devastating, as evidenced by the blood splattered across Haddon's body.
  • Azure Roar was a technique from the Azure Dragon Technique, capable of emitting a dragon-like roar while unleashing a storm of wind and thunder. The wind was sharp and electric, striking the enemy with unmatched force.
  • At that moment, everyone held their breath, afraid to miss anything. Sure enough, Sebastian didn't let them down. After the roar, he darted forward like a dragon and positioned himself before the stunned Haddon.
  • Sebastian's fingers spread apart, glowing blue. His hand resembled a dragon claw, powerful and forceful, releasing the formidable Azure Energy. Like an eagle seizing its prey, he lunged for Haddon's head with lightning speed. Just as he grasped, the claw expanded, resembling a true dragon claw with visible scales and sharp talons.
  • The sudden appearance of the azure dragon claw enveloped Haddon's head, unleashing a chilling intent that made everyone shudder. They saw Haddon's head caught in the dragon claw before he screamed, blood spilling from his mouth as he staggered back!
  • That was Azure Claw, a powerful attacking technique from the Azure Dragon Technique!
  • Witnessing Haddon, bloodied and terrified, everyone was left speechless. They couldn't believe that Sebastian had defeated Haddon with a single, effortless move!
  • With a loud crash, Haddon collapsed, sending chills down everyone's spines. After taking a moment to breathe, they confirmed that the incredible event had indeed happened.
  • The overwhelming azure true energy and the astonishing technique combined to create a formidable force, all from Sebastian, who lacked a Soul Vein!
  • Edgar observed as his son was gravely injured, blood gushing from him. Seeing that Haddon was still breathing, he felt relieved. Although Haddon was injured, the damage wasn't too severe overall, indicating that Sebastian had shown restraint.
  • At that moment, Edgar looked at Ronan with gratitude, and Ronan simply smiled back.
  • "He just wasn't skilled enough. If he gets hurt, he has only himself to blame!" Sebastian remarked coolly.
  • With steady eyes, he asked calmly, "So, can I take my father's place in the fight now?"
