• A few minutes later, Amelia returned to the living room to pick something up and Hailey was still talking with both eyes closed, still not knowing Amelia had left earlier.
• “Geez, playing a side character, that wouldn't be a problem with the way we are acting naturally. If Our Lives was a novel, at first glance, people might think Hailey's the main character because of her stalker, murderer, kidnapper, or whatever he is. I'm still a bit surprised at how I'm not freaked out about it, but it is what it is. With the way she keeps talking on and on, they'll eventually figure out that I'm the main character with a lot of responsibilities, trust issues, vulnerability, and whatever shiny thing happened to me in the past, that is, before having a one night stand with a billionaire who changed mine and my younger siblings lives. You know, maybe if I decide to write, I'd write about my life first and maybe Hailey’s next.” Amelia thought, staring at Hailey while standing on the stairs with a tired expression.
