Chapter 126

  • Sebastian didn't find anything of value to him, he turned back, looked at the man on the ground, and tied him up. He picked up his right leg and started dragging him towards his car. Sebastian dragged the unconscious man with practiced efficiency, his mind focused on getting answers as quickly as possible. The heavy thud of the man’s body against the concrete floor echoed through the empty parking garage, but Sebastian remained alert, his senses attuned to any potential threats. He was running out of time and couldn’t afford to be careless.
  • Once he reached the car, he opened the trunk. He stopped to check his body to find anything but didn't and unceremoniously dumped the man inside. His hands moved swiftly, tying the man's legs and securing him in place. Sebastian grabbed a small vial from his pocket—a stimulant he kept for situations exactly like this. He waved it under the man’s nose, watching as the scent hit him and his eyelids fluttered open.
  • “Wake up,” Sebastian commanded, his voice a low growl.
