Chapter 64

• " Axion " The tears that Phoenix had been trying to hold back finally fell as she kissed his beast neck tenderly. Axion could feel his heart skip and his stomach spark. Even in his beast form, her touch still has an effect on him.
• Phoenix pulled out of the hug and gently cupped his face, caressing it as she gazed into his purple, scary eyes but to her...it wasn't scary. All she could see was the fear, anger, and disgust in them. He was sickened with himself and it made her heart pang.
• " Are you scared, love? " She asked as her thumb stroked his cheeks lovingly. Axion closed his eyes and nodded, letting out a low groan.
