Chapter 47

• Phoenix strode down the path leading to Alastair's clan. It was finally time to meet him but Glinda didn't let her go unprepared. She did a great job with the makeover that made her look more like Ashley than Phoenix. She also cast a spell on her that entirely changed her voice to Ashley's and told her everything there is to know about Alastair.
• Phoenix's heart throbbed in fear and nervousness as she came to a halt right before the door. She is about to meet with a wizard pretending to be her mother and she couldn't help but be nervous. Exhaling deeply to steady her racing heart, she stepped in.
• Right there standing by the mirror, was Alastair who was backing her and all dressed up. Unlike before when everything in his clan was unkempt and old, everywhere was sparkling neat and decorated beautifully.
