- I feel like a caged animal. Alex had left to do some work after some time, and I was left on my own devices. I can’t remember the last time I had this much time in my hand in the last five years. I was either doing a job or running around looking for a job, worrying about paying bills and stuff.
- I sighed as I fiddled with my cellphone. I got the hang of social media. It was nice surfing through videos and articles. The hot topic now was Dominic and me. I came across several videos on YouTube, theories about our relationship, how I fit into the picture. Honestly, I did feel the pressure of it. I was never popular. Ever. That was the reason I wondered how Dominic stuck with me even after we entered high school. He shot to popularity when puberty hit him like a truck and when we met after the summer holidays I spent half the day gaping at the tall, handsome boy who used to be lanky.
