• Diane's POV
• I don’t know why it hurts so much. My legs were trembling, and I fought hard to hold my tears at bay, but they poured like twin streams as his words hit me like rocks in the chest.
• Even when he turned and saw me behind him, it didn’t change anything. I really meant nothing to him, just as he had told Jaden. He doesn't care a bit about me, and realizing it was so heartbreaking. I don’t know why I was thinking he came here for me. He doesn’t even know the school he was attending.
