Chapter 23 Drown
- The wedding will be in the next two days. That just means that we still have enough time to burden each other. As if I have a choice. I just tried to look at the bright side of this trip slash vacation. At least, I get to experience this once in a lifetime.
- The next morning I’m surprised that we did not have breakfast with his friends and colleagues. Instead, we rode a yacht and sailed through the sea and had an explicit breakfast. I can’t help but to gawk at the islands that we are passing by. As we go further, the sea becomes clearer and clearer.
- The sun's rays are like nourishment to my withering body. Thankfully, my outfit was made for days like today, and I was able to receive all the nourishment I require. Standing on the side deck in a tie-less top and baggy white jeans, I gazed out at the placid sea below. Is this what people mean when they say the ocean provides a "vitamin for the soul?" Just because I think that's what it should be.
