• Jo and Nic clapped their hands in excitement. They and Zoie were watching on the sidelines as Asher was talking to Mikayla. Zoie was standing there with her eyes glued to Asher’s back and a glass of peach martini in her hand. It had been ten minutes since the two of them started talking. They seemed to be having a good time. Zoie can’t really see Asher’s face, but she saw Mikayla’s. Her eyes were brimming with excitement as she was talking to him.
