• Violet opened her eyes to see Elena standing over the bed. The sunlight was streaming through the window and Violet couldn’t believe the night had already passed. It felt like it was only a few minutes ago that Elena led her to the guestroom and Violet fell asleep as soon as her head hit the bed.
