• This is the worst Christmas ever!
• As it turns out, spending Christmas with Asher and her family at the same time wasn’t as easy as Zoie thought it’d be. Zoie’s mom planned this elaborate Christmas extravaganza with the two families together and that meant they were always surrounded by other people. If she wasn’t catching up with Landon, Zoie was spending time with her parents or brothers. The same goes for Asher, he had to spend time with his mom and brother too. Sure, spending time with the family was great, but it had been days since Asher and Zoie could spend some quality time alone. She missed him even though he was always a few rooms away. She couldn’t kiss him under the mistletoe or snuggle up next to him by the fireplace. She couldn’t sit next to him on the couch while watching Home Alone for fear that people might notice something. It was an awkward Christmas and Zoie didn’t even get any presents from him.
