Chapter 107 A Confession

• Rachael walked home with a distant gaze, lost in thoughts. Her feet moved unconsciously while her mind wandered through a maze of reflections and worries, oblivious to the eerie sounds in the neighborhood. She couldn't help but reflect on the years she had spent working for the one man that hurt her feelings and also worried about what the future held for her.
• As she got to the doorstep of her apartment, a male silhouette suddenly appeared from nowhere, startling her, her gaze flashing with a sense of apprehension before she could register the familiar face of the man.
• She gasped in surprise, her face reddening with embarrassment as the events of last night flashed into her memories. It took a lot of effort to call out his name.
