Chapter 7 Who Is Bianca?

  • Gabriella Monet's Point of View
  • It was wonderful to see Daphne again. It's incredible how fate sometimes decides how things should be done. It never occurred to me that I would run into Daphne again, but she looks stunning in a regal-looking purple gown.
  • "Daphne, you're looking lovely tonight. It's beautiful to see you again, "I hugged her.
  • "Me too," she said in response.
  • Slade cleared his throat to get my attention, and both Daphne and I turned to face him. "Are you guys done?" he inquired condescendingly.
  • I scowled at him and decided not to respond to his question until Daphne took the initiative to do so.
  • She apologized to the prince before bowing.
  • "Bow!! Why would she show such deference to such a moron?" I couldn't help but think he was a deity as Daphne bowed to him in reverence.
  • "No one can be like you, Gabriella," Slade said alongside me.
  • "OK, I see you can follow my train of thought."
  • "You must be Gabriella; my name is Kyle."
  • The person with the raspy voice began by introducing himself.
  • I didn't respond; instead, I waved at him; however, as soon as I noticed the stern expression on Slade's face, I quickly lowered my hand.
  • "That's my younger sister in that position over there. Rosella, Princess of Wales" He pointed to a pretty, tall lady yelling at a terrified girl. The girl was relatively young. "That must be her slave," I thought, looking puzzled at Slade.
  • In hushed tones, he responded, "Yeah."
  • "I love your dress, Gabriella," the queen said.
  • Although she appears calm and kind, it is impossible to tell if a vampire is good or evil simply by looking at them. I decided to act naturally and show how much I appreciated her compliment.
  • "Thank you very much, my queen."
  • I bow.
  • Because of his ghostly white complexion, I had a sneaking suspicion that the servant was a vampire, and just then, he entered the royal room to announce that the palace's visitors had arrived.
  • He bowed and raised his head to face the king, but he did not look him in the eyes. "Your Majesty," he addressed him. Lady Luciana and Minister Zepeda's arrival has just been announced. He was the one who revealed it.
  • "Very well, then, let us welcome them," we agreed. The king spoke to the servant before dismissing him. "Slade," he said. Slade walked up to him and bowed.
  • "You're correct, papa."
  • "Your beloved has arrived. When we arrive, let's go greet her and her father." After informing him of the situation, the king walked away with the queen.
  • "Without a doubt, your honor. I'll be right there to join you." Slade then replied before returning to where I was standing and joining me.
  • "My girlfriend is visiting for a while, so I hope you can be nice to her."
  • He spoke quietly into my ear.
  • I couldn't help but smirk at him, but instead of responding verbally, I thought it through and delivered it to him internally. "You and your girlfriend deserve everything that comes your way." Even though I knew his blood was boiling with rage, I gave him a friendly grin.
  • Slade laughed and continued to speak quietly to himself. "I can tell you're acting unpredictably. If you choose to misbehave, I will treat you like garbage. "He made a threat.
  • I couldn't let him get to me with his ridiculous threats, so I decided to respond to his ridiculous threats. I couldn't let his stupid threats get to me.
  • A response I am confident will be appealing to him.
  • "You're fucked!" I forced a grin on my face to hide the look on my face from the vampires who were starting to stare at us.
  • "Is there anything that needs to be fixed? What exactly are you two discussing? There is a visitor who needs to be welcomed, "Kyle reminded him of this.
  • Before continuing his joke, Slade laughed and placed his hand on my shoulder.
  • "Nothing at all, sibling. We had just discussed our respective roles as enslaved persons and enslavers. Which one is it?" He motioned for me to respond.
  • "You are correct, Your Highness. Prince Slade appears to be right. "I addressed him by bowing.
  • When Prince Kyle smiled, nodded, and exited the throne room with the king and the other royals in attendance, Slade and I was left alone.
  • "Get your hands off of me!" he screamed.
  • I yelled and pushed his hand away from my shoulder.
  • "Please heed my warnings, Gabriella. Maintain proper etiquette."
  • "Interact with the hand."
  • I resisted his grasp and pushed his hand away as I exited the royal room.
  • Slade muttered something to himself along the lines of, "She's such a pain."
  • According to reports, all royals gathered at the ballroom's entrance to greet Lady Luciana and her father, Minister Zepeda.
  • "Welcome, Zepeda," the king said as he enthusiastically greeted and embraced the minister.
  • "We haven't seen your majesty in far too long."
  • By bending his knees, Zepeda shows the king proper respect.
  • "Greetings, my king and queen," said the messenger.
  • A young woman stood next to the minister and made her presence known.
  • "Welcome," the queen said as she smiled and embraced Luciana.
  • I had the impression that the Luciana he was referring to was not as attractive as hers. She had long red hair and a round face. Her hair was very long. She appears to be about 5 feet and 10 inches tall. With her toned upper body and voluptuous lower half, she had the body of a celebrity model. I couldn't help but admire her shape and secretly wish it was mine.
  • She hugged Slade and addressed him as "my prince." "Long time no see, Slade," she said as she greeted him.
  • He smiled and said, "It's lovely to see you again, Lucy," in response to her greeting.
  • Kyle greeted Lucy with a "Hey, Lucy," and the two hugged.
  • "Rosella!" she yelled as she dashed towards the princess to hug her. They appear to be romantically involved based on how they embrace one another.
  • "Do it. The game is almost ready to start," The monarch announced. Everyone respectfully bowed their heads and began making their way to the ball.
  • "Hey, you," Slade said, motioning with his finger. "Could you please help Gabriella with her bags?" He gave the orders.
  • "Me?"
  • I couldn't tell if he was talking to me, the other person, or the wall.
  • Slade nodded, satisfied, and pointed to Luciana's bags. "Yes, you," He said in response.
  • Lady Luciana seemed to be staring at me as if I were a dish. Her green eyes, which move all over my body, appear to be watching me. "You again?" she asked, grimacing and poking her finger at me.
  • "What went wrong?"
  • As I returned my gaze to her, I asked. I don't even know the girl, so I'm not sure why she acted as if we were acquainted.
  • "She looks like Bianca," Luciana said of the woman.
  • Everyone said they recognized me as a familiar face. Who exactly was that person? Was it because Slade thought I looked like a girl named Bianca that he bought me at auction? I had no choice but to investigate, and there was only one way.
  • "I've never heard the name, Bianca."
  • Everyone in the room turned to look at me after I asked the question.
  • "Slave, just pack your belongings and stop asking questions," the master instructed.
  • Slade spoke to me while casting a menacing look in my direction.
  • "Oh, you mighty Slade. I'm going to look into Bianca's identity. Do not expect me to kneel to you just because your cat-faced girlfriend is in the room. I am not submissive to anyone." Even though I knew he was reading my thoughts, I couldn't help but smirk at him. I expected him to become enraged in response to what I had just said; instead, he burst out laughing.
  • "Slade, are you all right? What's the source of your sudden laughter?" Kyle inquired because he had been listening in on the conversation between Slade and me.
  • "Can he also read people's minds?"
  • I looked at Slade with interest, and he shook his head in response. "Well, I guess that proves everything."
  • "Slade! "
  • Luciana called out his name and motioned him to the ballroom.
  • "Prince Slade," I called, but I had to quickly close my mouth after what I had just said.
  • "Yes, slave," he replied, a grin on his face.
  • I was curious as to where the bags should be left.
  • "Daphne will direct you to two apartments in the castle's westernmost wing. One is meant for Minister Zepeda, while the other is for Lady Luciana." After responding, he joined Luciana and the rest of the royal family inside the ballroom.
  • As soon as he left the room, I yelled angrily, "Bastard!" "Who does he think he is?" I wanted to cry, but I couldn't because there were so many security guards surrounding us.
  • "Gabriella!" Daphne addressed me by name. She pointed to the bags with her finger after I turned to face her. "Should we?"
  • I focused my attention on the entrance to the ballroom, where Slade and the other royals had entered. "Gabriella!" Daphne addressed me by name.
  • "Okay. Let's get started."
