• I grew up with this story, a haunting tale of vampires and a world I yearn to reshape. It dates back a thousand years when humans coexisted harmoniously with creatures like vampires, werewolves, hybrids, and even trolls. Yet, everything shattered when Lord Rallye, the vampire ruler, defied the land's rules and mercilessly preyed upon the blood of other creatures.
• Upon discovering this atrocity, Lord Tyler, the supreme lord of both humans and creatures, called for a meeting with Lord Rallye and the remaining lords of the land. Unanimously, they condemned Lord Rallye for his grievous sins and sought to banish him. However, the defiant lord harbored his own plans and rebelled against the united lords, plunging the realm into a devastating war.
• To bolster his cause, Lord Rallye forged an army of vampires to fight by his side. Countless lives were sacrificed in the conflict, and the vampire forces began to overpower the other creatures. Their dominance seemed assured until a fateful blood moon bathed the land in its ominous glow, endowing the vampires with even greater power. The remaining creatures, save for humans, were vanquished in the wake of their augmented strength.
• Once the war had concluded, Lord Rallye executed the other lords, severing their heads as a testament to his tyranny. He seized control over the human population, leaving no doubt that the world belonged to him. Imposing a series of oppressive laws upon humanity, he established the first rule—enslaving all humans to the vampire dominion. The second law dictated that every person, upon reaching the age of twenty, must serve the vampires until death. Those who dared defy these decrees met gruesome and merciless fates. As these laws multiplied and oppressed the human spirit, hope dwindled, leaving them resigned to a bleak existence.
