Chapter 49 Saved From The Execution
- Gabriella Monet POV:
- The day of the blood moon had finally arrived, when every vampire grew twice as strong and went on a killing rampage. In the dark cell, I couldn't feel Bianca's presence. "Bianca," I called out, but my voice came out as a mere whisper. The creaking door signaled that today would be different from the rest. Two guards dragged me out of the darkroom and led me to the Arena grounds.
- The Arena was filled with vampires and slaves. The vampires rejoiced as I was tied to a metal chair, while the slaves murmured among themselves, pointing fingers at me. The Royals were all seated across from me, but Slade was nowhere to be found. I searched the area, growing more anxious as I couldn't spot him. It felt like my friends had abandoned me in my darkest hour.
