• The very next morning, Celeste was already out of bed. She had prepared breakfast and went to the room to wake Ronald and Candice. “Ronnie, Candy, time to wake up. You need to get ready for kindergarten,” she called out.
• Ronald and Candice were sensible enough to dress themselves. Celeste helped Candice tie her hair up. The two children obediently finished their breakfast. Glancing at the time, Celeste noted they still had time to spare.
• “Both of you should behave yourselves at school and listen to your teachers, all right?” Celeste instructed. Ronald and Candice nodded in agreement, saying in unison, “Don't worry. We'll do as you say, Mommy.”
