• Natalie knelt down beside the child, gently holding his face, and with a pained expression, said, "I apologize, Skye. Is your face still hurting? It's all my fault. I angered your aunt, and you got caught in the middle."
• Yvonne seized the moment to interject. "Sandra, why resort to violence? Look at the marks on the child's face. How could you harm such a young one? It's no wonder Hendrick let you go to hail. You deserve it."
