Chapter 48

  • The smoke from the fireplace stung my eyes as I brewed the medicine like Da-Ri instructed. It had been a week since we found the mysterious man in the river and his health had improved greatly since then though he hadn't shown any sign of consciousness except for the one time he was mumbling a name in his coma state.
  • When I was done with the medicine, I took it to my brother's room, where the mysterious man was still occupying. I dressed up his healing wound and fed him the medicine in his coma state which was very difficult if you ask me. But I had gotten used to it since it had become a daily task of mine since we brought him to our village.
  • I sat on a small chair in the room, taking my time to observe the mysterious man in front of me. I noticed that the radiant color of his face and the pink color of his lips were already visible, and I had to admit he was the most good-looking man I had ever set my eyes.
