Stunned was too much of an understatement for what Brynn was feeling at that moment. She looked up to see none other than the devil himself standing in front of her.
A wave of panic and horror went through her as she looked at the door and didn't see him barging in, knowing something must have happened to him.
"Herron?" she called out in disbelief as the older wolf chuckled darkly. Brynn's heartbeat felt like it was on overdrive as her senses sharpened. All she could smell was an unsettling aura coming from him, and all she could think of was her fight or flight response. "What are you doing here?"
