• "Does that scare you?" She takes a few steps forward, closing the distance between us. My eyes drop to her chest where her nipples are poking through the dress. Her sweet scent drifts to my nose and I want to bury my nose between her breasts and stay there forever. It takes everything in me to lift my gaze back to hers and the gloating in her eyes has me wondering if she's doing this on purpose. Is she trying to seduce me or is it my imagination? For as long as I've known her, she's always been aloof. I thought that even after she'd gotten over her dead lover, I'd still have a hard time trying to convince her to look at me. But if she's taking the initiative, that's a whole other story.
• I took a lot of videos and photos of Ophelia while she was growing up because I knew this day would come. The day when she was ready to put the past behind her and move forward. Obviously, the first thing she would do is see what she missed. I'm glad she's finally ready to be a part of Ophelia's life and honestly, all she had to do was ask. I'd never keep something like this from her. But I'm a businessman. I would never pass up such a deal. Not just with her but with anyone. Although, I'll admit she's a bit special. Having the power to make her do whatever I want is going to come in handy.
