• RAVEN’S POV:
• "Are you ready?" Bethany asked with a radiant smile as she held her arm out for me to take. I clasped my arm with hers, a nervous smile on my lips, as she led me into the revolving doors of the hotel.
• Yesterday, she informed me that an end-of-the-year banquet would be held today, and I had to attend. I wanted to opt out since the last party I went to with her was just full of drama. But she insisted everyone usually attended except some of the pack elders, and it was best for me to attend so I could get initiated into the pack.
