• Rachel let out another deep breath as she began to clean up the tables in a VIP room, carefully ensuring that it was spotless and ready for the next night's event. Her eyes wandered at the men and women swaying their hips with cigarettes and laughter filling the dimly lit room. Beneath the vibrant lights, she felt like an invisible observer among glittering guests. She had to constantly remind herself that this was her new life and when she stepped out of the VIP room, her reflection staring back at her in the oval mirror, she felt different seeing how much had changed in the past six weeks.
