• Rachel crossed a leg over the other. The events that happened in the last twenty four hours left a gaping hole in her heart. In her heart, she held a slight resentment towards Anna because of the dinner and her bringing her ex-boyfriend, Kendrick.
• Now, the resentment had gradually faded and was now replaced by pity. Now she felt she had to play the role of a sister in law and a comforter to her husband.
• She hated how guilty he was feeling. The words that came out of the doctor's lips weren't assuring and she didn't like Nathan's explosive behavior.
