• My eyelids flutter open, and for a moment, I don't realize where I am. Wood flooring, high ceilings, and grey painted walls greet my groggy vision. I spot a picture of Micah and I on the side table. We're both smiling at the camera with our arms intertwined, a snapshot of happier times.
• Slowly, it's as if someone has encased my body in ice. With significant effort, I turn on my side and see Micah lying on his back on the bed. The sheets are draped over his lower body, exposing his muscular shoulders. Nervously, I look under my own sheets, and a gasp falls from my lips as I discover that I'm completely naked underneath.
