Chapter 49 You Love Me?

• Lana couldn’t take it anymore, ebbing as she ran towards her room. It was hard for her to swallow that she was some prize. All her life she craved for attention, to be valued, to feel important. But this was not what Lana desired in any way. Leaving the pack was already in her plan, being trapped like a trophy was not in her checklist. Everything came down crashing for her as she didn’t want to stay. Things had started to make sense which made her hands tremble and steps to stumble. Somehow Svetlana reached her room and closed the door.
• “How could he do this to me? I thought he genuinely was concerned about me.” Slumping in the bed, Lana threw a pillow in anger. “My goodness! How could I be so naive to think that anyone here is actually my family?” Placing her palms on the bed, clutching the bedsheet in rage. Svetlana stood up and wandered, seeing the vase on the table. She picked it up and threw it to ventilate her anger. However, Raihan grabbed it using his sharp senses after entering the room. He glanced at her only to see Lana being unaware of his presence.
• “What happened to you? I didn’t know you would get hurt this much over a tiny joke.” Raihan had no idea about her misery and chuckled softly. Meanwhile, Lana glared at him without speaking at first. “Are you alright, Lana?” Seeing her acting weirdly enraged over a small joke, made him suspicious knowing she wasn’t the type to get hyper easily. Svetlana was already disturbed mentally that she could not contain her emotions. Lunging towards him, grabbing his collars, Lana growled at him. It was the moment Raihan saw her eyes flicking blue.
