Chapter 46 Trial One, Compassion

• “Then what do you even want? Why are you acting weirdly now after setting everything up?” Lana confronted him while Raihan was holding her wrists. He had a lot to say but didn’t know if it was the right time to begin with. “Is there something on your mind? Do you want to do things in some other way?” Raihan shook his head and stepped back, releasing her hands he growled at Lana. Something was wrong with him.
• “No, everything is fine. You don’t have to overthink.” He spoke and stepped towards the window. Raihan’s gaze darted to the afternoon sky as he sighed. “As I said you have my word, I won’t back off from my decision. It doesn’t matter what the trials are and whomever is going to participate. You will pick me and I will assure it won't look like planned.” Raking through his hair, Raihan headed to the door.
