Chapter 12 Kidnapped
- After her last class Lana received a text on her phone that the triplets were going to pick her up. “Heck no! I am not going back with those devils.” She knew how their presence had already added trouble to her matters.
- Lana wrote a text back to the same number that she will come back home by herself. Not knowing that the contact belonged to Raihan, and she had just angered the scariest one among them. She grabbed her bag and headed towards the gate.
- It was the moment when a junior approached her. “Miss. Is your name Lana?” When she nodded, the kid informed her that she was called. “Professor Lars is calling you in his office.” Lana saw the time and headed towards the office.
- Knowing it would buy her some time till the triplets are gone. She did not wish to go out only to spot them in the parking lot. Having that thought in her mind she headed to meet Lars. His office was in the administration block, the one a few minutes away from where her classes were.
- The block was empty when she turned towards the corridor. “Hello again, kitty!” Alpha Asher appeared from nowhere and blocked her way. Lana immediately turned around but his lackeys had already surrounded her.
- “Running somewhere?” Before Lana could realise it was a trap she was already into it. Asher lunged towards her with something in his hand. In an instant Lana was unconscious in his arms. Asher scooped her up and headed towards his dorm.
- There were segregated dorms within the institute. Since the premises were designed the way that inside it every kind of scent was masked. Undetectable. Only that way they could accommodate diversity without causing any risk of bloodshed and vulgarity.
- Now that Lana was unconscious and Asher took her towards his dorm, there was no way anyone could find her. The arcade where he called her had no working cameras from two days. There was practically no way the triplets could find her.
- Meanwhile back home Sahan and Zuhan were already worried about her as an hour passed. “We should go and look for her. Dad gave her responsibility to us.” Sahan tried to make a point while the three of them were sitting in Raihan’s room.
- “No need. She wanted to play strong headed, now she has it.” Raihan rebuked them, making his brothers recall what she texted. Meanwhile, the two of them saw him watching tv peacefully. It seemed Raihan had no damn concern of any kind about her.
- However, Sahan and Zuhan could not keep their worry hidden. Knowing that their parents were going out to some party. And before leaving they would certainly ask Lana about her first day at college. It simply meant that the news of her being missing would drive them worried and crazy.
- “Oh come on dude! You know it’s her first day in the damn city. She could be lost, bullied, molested, kidnapped whatever. We can’t simply wait for her to come back in one piece. You know how things are.” Zuhan tried to convince their brother.
- Sahan also nodded and waited for Raihan to say something. “I am not going out again.” Both of them were relieved upon hearing the green signal. They knew Raihan very well and since he mentioned about only himself, it simply meant they could do whatever they wanted.
- “Alright. We will be back soon.” Both of them headed out as fast as they could. After they were gone Raihan threw the remote aside and laid down. Slumping himself in the bed he closed his eyes and for some reason the whole situation made him angry.
- “The fuck is this girl doing with her life!” He snapped open his eyes and growled while they glowed sharp golden. “She loves to trouble us.” He assumed, knowing that Lana wanted to bring them down. Raihan could not believe that she would go this far to put herself in danger.
- On the other hand, Sahan and Zuhan first went to the institute. They had to confirm from the guard that Lana had left the premises at the right hour. Because only after that they could decide where to look for her next. After all, the city was big enough for her to get lost.
- Upon confirming that she did not leave the building, they both went straight towards the office. Seeing that the office was about to close, they both asked the dean's permission to check the footage. In normal circumstances they would not be allowed but since the matter involved a missing student he permitted it.
- “Why is she nowhere to be seen?” Sahan grew irritated when he did not see Lana anywhere. He grew anxious while Zuhan was relatively calm as he skimmed through the footage of all cameras. “Did you find her? Why is she not in any camera around her class?”
- Sahan did have a point but it was not the time to question such things. Zuhan finally spotted her in one of the cameras, it was in the front lawn when Svetlana was heading out. “There! There she is.” Zuhan chirped happily and slapped Sahan’s shoulder to grab his attention.
- “We have to find this kid. He is the last person who saw Lana. Since she never left the college, it means she is still here. We don’t have time to search the whole darn institute. This kid will tell us why she went inside again.”
- Zuhan had a solid point as the institute was too big and they could not search every class and dorm room to find her. The fastest way was to contact the kid, both of them ran a search in documents, from the picture they got from the footage and called him.
- “We are coming, Lana. Hold on.” Sahan murmured himself under his breath while Zuhan was on the call with that kid. “Please be safe, Lana.” It was the moment he realised that something made him worry for her. Sahan began to twist his fingers in anxiousness while waiting for any hopeful news.
