- Evana’s POV
- My steps are hurried, my breath uneven as I flee down the dimly lit corridors. My heart slams against my ribs, the intensity of what just happened still fresh in my mind. I shouldn’t have gone there. I shouldn’t have let them see me like that. Like a weak broken girl which I'm not.
- But now, I just want to return to my room, bury myself in the safety of my bed and pretend none of this ever happened.
