• I could go down to reception and see if they have a larger room available. I can easily afford any room in this hotel, and often the penthouse suites and other, bigger rooms aren’t booked out. If I was on my own, I’d definitely do that. But I don’t want to embarrass Alice. And anyway, the only thing we need is a bed, and this one is more than adequate. The wall lights are subtle, and it’s pleasantly warm. It almost feels as if we’re in a tent. I don’t get claustrophobic, and I’m more than happy at the thought of getting up close and personal with this gorgeous girl.
