Chapter 18 Dinner Is Ready
- It had been more than 30 minutes since Valerie informed Armani that dinner was almost ready. She also wanted to know what time his guest would be arriving but had forgotten to ask him.
- She was dressing the table when Armani descended the stairs; she could smell his presence from where she was, his strong masculine perfume filling the room.
