• It had been three days, and every time Julia thought about Samuel proposing, she couldn't help but have a sad expression on her face. She loved Samuel, but for some reason, she had refused him.
• "Julia, I heard that from Samuel. You should consider getting engaged. It's also what your father wants."
• Caroline sighed as she looked at Julia, whose expression kept changing. Evan had originally wanted them to get married right away. Although it was unfair to Samuel, it was probably for the best to prevent Julia from making any foolish decisions.
