Chapter 12
- Julia fled, enduring the soreness and discomfort throughout her body. Stumbling out of the cave, she realized that there was a drizzle falling. Clad in a thin nightgown and wrapped in a random jacket from the night before, she shielded herself from the chilly air.
- In the dense jungle, she couldn't discern the direction. However, despite Dominic covering her mouth and occasionally blocking her vision the night before, she vaguely remembered the way back.
- Bare feet, still marked with remnants of kisses, pressed into the muddy ground, leaving shallow footprints. As she gradually swayed farther away, the drizzle filled the imprints.
