Chapter 14 It Must Be No7!
- “Where is she?” Grace glanced around her.
- “She was still right there just now.” Christopher was a little upset and panicked. Seeing that Molly was playing on the slide happily, he had turned around to answer a call.
- “President Knight, you really amaze me. Is this how you watch a child?” She was burning with anxiety and couldn’t help criticizing him.
- He looked at the anxious Grace and felt a little puzzled.
- Why does it feel as if this pâtissière is even more worried than I am?
- However, the current situation did not allow for him to ponder the question too deeply. Then, they searched for Molly separately.
- “Molly!”
- “Molly, where are you?!”
- After searching all over the amusement park, they finally found Molly below the Ferris wheel.
- Grabbing Molly forcefully, Christopher sternly reprimanded her, “Why did you run off by yourself?!’
- Molly was frightened by his expression. Thus, she hid in Grace’s embrace and burst into tears with a loud wail. “I saw a girl who looked exactly like me just now. So, I ran over to talk to her… B-But, when I turned around, I couldn’t find Daddy anywhere! I was so scared!”
- A girl who looked exactly like her? Grace was shocked. Don’t tell me it’s Kelly? Did Dylan bring Kelly and Noah to the amusement park too? It’ll be bad if they accidentally ran into Christopher!
- Christopher gazed at the panicky expression, as well as the snot and tears, on his daughter’s face and felt sorry for her. Thus, he pulled her over to him and made his voice gentler, saying, “Alright, don’t cry anymore, Molly. It was my fault. I shouldn’t have answered the call.”
- Watching how flustered he was, Grace hurriedly brought out some tissues to help Molly wipe away her tears and snot.
- Then, Molly leaned into his arms and wept softly, “I was so scared when I couldn’t find you, Daddy! Daddy, do you not want me anymore?”
- Thus, he hurriedly hugged his daughter tightly. “How could that be! I love you the most, Molly. There’s no way I wouldn’t want you, Molly.”
- Using the tissues to wipe her nose herself, she pointed up at the Ferris wheel and said, “Then, accompany me on this, Daddy.”
- “This?” He looked troubled.
- “Daddy!” She tugged his hand and acted cutely.
- He took a deep breath and agreed, “Alright! I’ll accompany you.”
- Thus, all three of them bought tickets to ride on the Ferris wheel.
- Grace had been mulling over the words Molly had said. Then, she finally couldn’t hold it in anymore and questioned, “Molly, did you really meet a girl who looks exactly like you?”
- “Yes!” Molly nodded vigorously.
- Just then, Christopher interrupted their conversation. “How could there be somebody who looked exactly like you, unless it was your identical twin.”
- After saying that, he was taken aback abruptly. Identical twins? If Molly really did see a girl who looked exactly like her, wouldn’t that girl be my flesh and blood too?
- Grace was filled with trepidation. She observed his expression, and her heart pounded wildly…
- Molly answered determinedly, “I really did see her. That girl looked exactly like me! I even talked to her for a little bit!”
- “What were you talking about?” Grace and Christopher asked in unison.
- Tilting her head to the side and pondering over it for a while, Molly answered, “She was holding a lot of balloons and was helping her parents sell those balloons!”
- “Selling balloons?” Grace was stunned.
- Dylan asking Kelly to sell balloons? That’s impossible. Still, Molly insists that she met a girl who looks identical to her. Don’t tell me… Is it No.7?! Out of my nine children, the youngest three were identical triplets. Their appearances were identical to each other. If it isn’t Kelly, then it must be No.7!
- Thus, Grace excitedly grabbed Molly’s small hands. “Molly, quickly tell me where that girl is!”
