• Eventually, everyone surpassed her, leaving her all alone at the back. Joanne happily rode until she felt cold chills and a change in the atmosphere.
• At once, her bicycle’s tire went flat, creating a screeching sound. Joanne fell out of the bicycle and landed with a great thud. She wriggled in pain while opening her eyes slowly.
• “Argh!” She winced in pain as she rolled with difficulty. Staring at the view before her, she found out that she was in an empty street filled with houses; hence she thought hard about what to do.
