Chapter 45 Pyramid

• I drop Mia off with Archer before heading to classes. He’s locked in to something he’s reading and doesn’t say a word as I put Mia in her playpen. I tell him I’ll be back after classes and he grunts a reply.
• They wind up being as boring as ever. Although, I can’t help but blush when I get a physics problem right. Coach White pesters me again about joining a club. I give him a few half-assed responses and make sure to sprint out of the gym after class.
• At the end of the day, I find myself dreading going back to Archer to pick up Mia. The interaction had been miserably awkward that morning. It’s not something I’d like to repeat again this afternoon. I sigh as I get into the pyramid and do a shuffle to Archer’s room. I raise my hand to knock on the door and it flies open.
