Chapter 46 ~Brian Is Written Off~

• With the song I was able to lull Brian to sleep as he was very much upset over the bruises the fetters inflicted on him. At the time his wrist had swollen and his ankles and been so bruised that the redness couldn’t be differentiated from the blood that thickened under his skin.
• With his head resting on my thighs I was able to treat his bruised ankles and wrists with the first aid box. I wanted to take him to the clinic but then a contrary thought suggested I treat him myself to avoid Opula avenging the bite he gave her the other day.
• Since she was still at the clinic, it would be riskier to have Brian at the same clinic. When he bit her I had seen the vengeance and enmity that decked her eyes and I could tell that things may never get rosy between the both of them and Brian stood at a loe end in the hearts of his sisters right now.
