Chapter 42 ~Frank's Seduction~

• I had taken my bath and was mid way using some lotion on me skin when I heard the rear entrance open slightly. The door creaked and I thought someone was either leaving or entering my chamber.
• It couldn’t have been Brian because he was still bound with fetters, so there was no way he could move an inch. And I wasn’t expecting any visitor either since after the incident of Brian and Opula everyone had stigmatized us as though we had plaque.
• I paused my breath in one moment of uncertainty and nervousness. I dared to process the shuffling on the floor which often came on and off as though the intruder was avoiding Brian’s anger and any form of suspicion at the time. I could hear some shuffling of an oncoming walker. It was as though the intruder was being cautious enough to avoid the troubles of Brian and there was no way an intruder could have the guts to sneak into my chamber if he or she wasn’t an occupant of the mansion.
