Chapter 32 She's Pregnant

• Alexa woke up that morning feeling dizzy. She immediately ran to the bathroom when she felt the need to throw up the dinner she ate last night. But when she got there, nothing came out. ‘Arghh! What is this happening to me? Why am I so dizzy?’ Alexa massaged her temples to ease the dizziness she was feeling. ‘Maybe I’ll tell Maxime I can’t help them–- oh shit! Maxime is going to the hospital today.’ She bit her fingernails out of frustration. “What should I do? If I tell them I need to take a day off today, Ina will probably get mad again. Arghhh…” She shrugged as she felt like she had already lost her battle. ‘I guess I have no choice but to help Ina today. I just hope she won’t have loads of work.’ She thought.
• Alexa’s heart pounded when she opened the door of the bathroom and saw Ethan standing in front of it with his suit and tie on. He’s probably going to the office and just dropped by to say goodbye. Ever since the incident that happened between Alexa and Ina, Ethan had become more caring and attentive when it came to Alexa. He took care of her until her wounds healed. Even buying the most expensive ointment actresses used that removed scars like they were never there. He also brought her food and didn’t force her to clean the house. And what she wondered about the most is he didn’t force her to have sex with him, not even once, and he stopped being rude to her. The only thing that bothered her was Ethan told her once that she should avoid Austin whenever he was around. Alexa never bothered to ask him why, but she wondered what his reason was to issue such an order. She was afraid that the Master would be mad at her again, so she just complied.
