Chapter 25 Quarrel

• Maxime ran to Austin’s room in a hurry. When she pushed the door hastily open, Austin looked at her, stunned. He frowned as he listened half-heartedly to the person on the phone.
• “What the hell, Maxime!” He yelled, but Maxime quickly knocked out the phone away from Austin’s hand and scrambled to pick it up off the bed.
• Maxime didn’t even bother to look at the screen and ended the call without hesitation. She huffed to take in the air she lost from running in the hallway to reach his room. When she realized what she’d done and how it looked awkward that she was crouched on top of his bed, Maxine stood up and fixed her uniform.
