• The next morning, Austin summoned Alexa to his room. “How are you?” He frowned upon noticing the bruises on Alexa’s neck. ‘Damn that man. Did he try to kill her? Poor girl…’ He thought.
• “I’m fine. Thank you for asking.” Alexa smiled weakly.
• He sighed. “Master told me he’d be gone for the next few weeks, so he asked me to tell you that while he is gone, you will replace Maxime with helping Ina, doing the chores around the villa. But you can’t get groceries, roam outside, or go anywhere you’ve been restricted from.”
